Exceptionally Fine and Rare Antique English Heavy Sterling Silver "Adam Style" two piece Epergne or Centerpiece.

Approximately 74 troy ounces
Upper disk: 14" x 8 1/2" x 4 3/8" H
Lower stand: 15 1/4" x 11 1/8" x 3 1/2" H
Please note cast sterling ram's head handles, "Adam" style cast sterling bows and bellflowers, Rincent scrolls, and hand piercing.
Apparently, this was specially made by Comyns from an 18th C. original made by John Wakelin in 1788/1789 currently the original which is identical and part of the Carnegie Museum of Art (Pittsburgh, PA)
