French 19th century Restauration mahogany console with fine bronze d'ore mounts and Bleu Turquin marble top

An exquisite French 19th-century Louis XVI-style surtout de table featuring a centerpiece and two urns in patinated, gilded bronze and onyx, circa 1880. The oval centerpiece in amber patinated bronze, ormolu and onyx rests on a rectangular flanged bronze base topped with an onyx slab. Charming cherubs, draped in flowing garments, grace each side, kneeling on onyx bases with floral gilt reserves, and holding the oblong-shaped patinated bronze bowl. Intricate foliate designs and a central cameo of a young woman adorn the bowl, complemented by a reticulated flanged top band and a smooth finished interior. Two urn-shaped double-handled vases feature ormolu relief decoration depicting quivers, arrows, pan flutes, and vine branches with grape clusters. This exceptional late 19th century three-piece French garniture includes two footed urns and a low footed centerpiece bowl. The urns and bowl are composed of patinated bronze with ormolu mounts which include neoclassical mask detail and rest on square marble plinths with ormolu bases. The pieces have distinctive elongated handles at the sides which terminate in stylized pendant decoration. As seen in the accompanying photographs, the exterior of the urns and bowl feature applied bronze decoration in the form of ornate foliate swags with flowers. Please be sure to zoom in on the photos to better appreciate the detail of the cast decoration, it is impressive. The urns stand 15.75" tall as measured to the top of the rims. A fine gilt bronze and Champlevé Enamel Garniture Set comprising a pair of candelabra and a brûle-parfum and cover. French, circa 1890. The brûle -parfum or censor with a domed champlevé enamel lid above a gilt bronze pierced guilloche border with ram's head mounts supported by a baluster column flanked by seated putti finely cast with musical instruments on a circular base. The candelabra en suite having a pair of of putti figures supporting candlearms with circular champlevé enamel drip trays and sconces. Champlevé enamelling, is similar to cloisonné in that the enamel is applied to discrete cells separated by metal. However, in champlevé, cells or troughs are cast into or cut away from the metal base, leaving a raised metal line between the cells which forms the outline of a design.
