Large Art Nouveau bronze Silver-Plated Centerpiece. Circa 1900s.
A magnificent and rare example of early 20th-century Art Nouveau design, this large silver-plated centerpiece features four elegantly draped female figures gracefully holding flowing fabric around an inset mirror with a ground edge that represents water.
The sculptural composition beautifully captures the fluid, organic movement characteristic of the Art Nouveau era, with exquisite attention to detail in the figures’ poses and garments.
