About the Item
A stunning and impeccably crafted model '2004' crystal dish designed by Max Ingrand and produced by Fontana Arte in 1955. This lidded dish features a pinkish-orange crystal body, expertly crafted so the lid rests securely in a sculpted groove. The top of the lid is adorned with a burnished brass finger ring, which looks like a little halo atop the dish. The crystal body of the dish sits on a nickel-plated brass base. The burnished, patinaed look of the brass contrasts stunningly against the smooth, sumptuous and delicately polished crystal. The quality is simply outstanding. This piece was acquired from the original owner who cherished it like the piece of art that it is.
