About the Item
Beautiful, rare and large, vintage Murano hand blown orange "A Mace" Italian art glass flower vase with iridescent surface. The vase is documented to designer Dino Martens for the Aureliano Toso workshop. It is a published design in several books and pictured on the book "Dino Martens" by Marc Heiremans (see book photo, but in a different color). The vase has a decorative crimped rim, with swirling spots of rich orange color, and small bubbles throughout. It still retains an original "Made In Italy" item number label underneath. Would make a great display piece on any console table or credenza. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 18 1/2" tall x 7" wide at the body.
