Purchased in Rome in a private home of a tireless traveller, we offer for sale an item from Inodnesia, made of hand carved and turned solid wood, known as "Dulangs" were used to carry offerings atop Balinese women's heads during ceremonial processions.
Splendid to the eye with its irregular shape and a splendid patina, but also to the touch thanks to its natural irregular wood texture.
The item is in original vintage condition. It shows minimal sign of use and time and a beautiful patina.
Our trusted restorer has applied a protective wax to preserve the wood and patina
