About the Item

A most elegant pair of Chinese 18th century Famille Rose Porcelain and French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu mounted centerpieces. Each wonderful centerpiece is raised on a circular pierced Ormolu base with Greek Key designed feet leading to a gadrooned band accented with swaging foliate garlands. At each side of the centerpieces are elegant scrolled Ormolu handles with foliate designs, flowers, and acanthus leaves. The centerpiece displays wonderful and colorful flowers with birds and bouquets of flowers while being surrounded by an Ormolu egg and dart designed rim. *Available with complementary centerpieces Item# 14752, sold separately.
