About the Item

Important oval jardinière of Louis XV style, dating from the end of the 19th century. This centerpiece serving as a jardinière in silvered bronze, with its curved forms and leafy motifs, rests on four feet. A frieze makes the perimeter and two handles decorated with garlands of leaves complete its aesthetic movement. It has a removable silver-plated interior and is engraved on the reverse "Alice 11 May 1899". XIX° Period, Circa: 1890. Dim: W: 17,7 in - D: 9,8in - H: 5,1in.
