About the Item

Beautiful amber-coloured pressed glass fruit bowl, very large bowl with a central rosette and rounded wavy edge, by Val Saint Lambert, the Luxval series from 1935, marked at the bottom. This bowl comes from the Luxval series and can be seen in the 1935 catalogue under ‘Moulure Côtes Plates A’. Made from pressed coloured glass, better known as depression glass. Due to its large size, this is a very nice piece to place centrally on your table, a real eye-catcher with a rich history, collector's item! The bowl is in good vintage and used condition, with light signs of age and use appropriate to its age, no cracks or breaks, some superficial scratches on the base, it contains small air bubbles and glass threads, which is typical of pressed glass, check the photos for more details! Dimensions: 42x33x3.5cm. Weight: 2.198kg.
