About the Item

A fantastic and rare piece of history. Produced by the Montiel Family Studio sometime in the 1890s to early 1900s. A red clay body decorated in a beautifully lustered Majolica glaze. Very reminiscent in style to 1950s Italian ceramics like Guido Gambone. Provenance: From the collection of internationally renowned archeologist and former museum director. Please inquire for name. In pristine condition showing no cracks, chips, hairlines or repairs.
