About the Item

Art Deco 1930s ceramic powder bowl, hand signed under the base Aladin France – made in France. Features a young woman vibrantly colored with her white bob haircut and holding a bouquet of flowers, sitting on a pouffe cushion . Made in France. A rare design and very high quality that we have come to expect from French ceramics. Fine and delicate detailing to the face, beautifully and skillfully done. A great powder box with multiple applications aside from it's original intent. Condition is very good, colours are bright, there is no crazing to the glaze. She's free from damage but shows original faults on some of the hand painted paintwork. No restorations.
