Art piece by Norwegian ceramic artist Johanne Birkeland. Birkeland works under the artist name Jossolini.
All her pieces are unique, and are built or thrown by hand. The decoration is also made by hand, using a black, matte glaze. She works mainly with white stoneware, and her pieces are fired at stoneware temperatures (
1200 Celsius).
All of Jossolini’s pieces are designed, made and fired by the artist herself, at her studio in Oslo.
