About the Item
Small pinched ceramic bowl by French artist Mado Jolain (1921–2019), dating from the 1950s and signed "MJ" on the underside. A renowned ceramicist and designer, Mado Jolain was celebrated for her creations that blended aesthetics and functionality, particularly during the 1950s and 1960s. After studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, she collaborated with haute couture houses by designing fashion accessories. This piece, in excellent condition, is a testament to her talent and creative spirit.
