About the Item

Ceramic nomad jar lindsey by Gilles Cecilie Unique Dimensions: H 9 x W 6,5 cm Material: ceramic painted Gilles and Cecilie Studio created the Nomad Jar Family to explore drawing in three dimensions. The series of objects that can stand alone or can interact through stacking allows the user to influence the composition by mixing material, shape and color. This series was developed to investigate the seemingly instinctive desire for personal belongings, the need to own something, to establish what portable objects evoke the comfort of home and so that the feeling of home itself is something you can take with you wherever you go. Each object is cast in terracotta with iron and ceramic stone, and available natural, white, or colour. Casted at Gilles Cecilie Studio in London using handmade moulds. Each object is unique.
