About the Item
An aeronautical engineer by training
Jacques Blin created his first ceramics at home lamp bases In 1954 he set up a studio in Paris and exhibited at the Maison de la Chimie and at the Salon des Céramistes et Métiers d'Art
His molded pieces with cloudy enamel and engraved decorations of birds and primitive animals were immediately very successful. He was president of the Chambre Syndicale de ceramistes et Ateliers d'art for twenty years.
