Early bowl design by Weston Neil Andersen of Andersen Design studio circa 1950s Biomorphic form slip cast in red stoneware with moss green glaze with hand painted signature to underside 6.5 inch diameter 4.5 inch height Weston Neil Andersen graduated from Pratt Institute where he studied under Eva Zeisel, and later taught at the Akron Art Institute. Andersen Design studio was founded in 1952 by Weston and Brenda Nash Andersen in Maine. This bowl is an early work dating to the late 1950s or early 1960s
