About the Item

Black glazed ceramic pitcher by Jean Marais dating from the 1960s. Jean Marais was certainly an actor, but also a painter and ceramic sculptor. In the 1980s, he settled in Vallauris, where he opened a gallery. He rubbed shoulders with Jean Cocteau, among others.
