A beautiful art pottery bowl with pale exterior and bright blue interior.
Rich creamy outside glaze with exterior Sgraffito decoration.
Created by Bauhaus trained German potter and sculptor
Frans Wildenhein (1905-1980).
Husband of well known potter Marguerite Wildenhain.
Most likely created while Frans was at Pond Farm in the late 1940s
Given the early signature.
