About the Item

A striking example of French mid-century ceramic design, this lidded pot combines a bold orange-red body with a softly curved green-glazed lid, achieving a refined balance of form and color typical of the 1950s; in very good vintage condition with beautiful natural glaze crackling and only a tiny glaze chip on the lid handle (see photo), it makes a distinctive decorative accent for collectors and interiors alike.
