About the Item
George Jones Majolica 'Apple Blossom' Teapot, the pear-shaped teapot and lid molded with blooming apple tree limbs, with a mossy branch handle and spout, with basketweave banding, the cover surmounted by yellow-banded twigs forming the knop, the reverse with molded British Registry Mark for 29 April 1873; and design number '3304' painted in the thumbprint reserve.
This design is documented in the Karmason Library of the Majolica International Society, Number KL002547P with the rarity designation 'Rare.
For thirty years we have been among the preeminent specialists in fine antique majolica.

- Condition:Repaired: Invisible professional restoration to the lid and spout tip; done to the highest standards. Wear consistent with age and use. The lids and spouts of majolica teapots are often areas where damage occurred at some point. Appears to have never been used, with a clean, beautiful interior. Age-appropriate slight crazing.
