About the Item
Delicate Goldscheider Art Déco Ceramic Figurine of the 1930s:
Young dancer posing with short brunette hair in a blue costume: a tight-fitting bustier and a short, high-slit flounce skirt with a long train and matching high-heeled shoes, her right leg forward, her upper body leaning slightly
backwards and turned to the right, her right hand on her hip and her blue neckerchief brushing forward through her left hand.
On a beige, slightly domed oval base with a light green glaze and grey shading on the sides.
Designed by Stephan DAKON (1904 - 1992), was one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
Model 8302 was created and made 1938.
