About the Item
This possibly antique handcrafted clay griddle features a wide, shallow surface with two integrated loop handles. Made from earthenware, the piece shows heavy patina and surface wear consistent with age and traditional cooking use. The natural smoke-darkened finish and burn marks suggest it was historically used over open flame or hearth cooking, giving it a distinctive rustic character.
The griddle has a notable crack extending from one handle across the surface, visible in photographs, along with other age-related imperfections.
