About the Item
Box made of ceramic by the Lenci Manufactory in Turin, around the late 1950s and early 1960s.
The box in question is is cubic in shape and features a lid with a figurative knob, as two mushrooms are depicted. The side faces of the box are painted with polychrome enamels and see the depiction of a simple, stylized Hillside landscape with a few trees, some small houses and clouds; all bordered by black colored stripes.
The state of preservation is excellent; on the bottom is the mark with the inscription "Lenci / MADE IN ITALY - TORINO."
Measurements without lid are 14 x 14 x 13 cm; with lid 14 x 14 x 20 cm.
