About the Item
This large chalice vase was crafted by the French ceramist Pol Chambost. Initially a sculptor but self-taught in ceramics, he made substantial contributions to this art form in post-war France through his creative works.
Made from white clay with a milky off-white glaze on the exterior and an orange interior, this vase stands as a splendid testament to his artistic prowess.
It bears the distinctive markings "Chambost, Made In France," along with the reference "2046" on the base.
