40-Piece Set Antique Dinnerware - T.C. Brown Westhead - England 1868
Located in Casteren, Noord-Brabant
Beautiful set of antique ceramic tableware, made by the English manufacturer T.C. Brown Westhead Moore & Co. The model name is Canova. This service is decorated with all kinds of different images of birds. These images are full of details, they are atmospheric and true to nature. The images also show other elements from nature such as plants, insects and flowers. An ode to nature. Also nice are the subtle gold-coloured accents on the serving pieces. All parts are marked on the back, and a diamond registration mark can be seen. From this it can be concluded that the service was made in December 1868. It is special that this set is so old, and is still so relatively extended and in such good condition. A beautiful service to use on the table, but also suitable for display in a cabinet or kitchen.
The set is in very nice condition, especially considering its age. No chips and no hairlines. Hardly any discolorations.
The composition of the set:
-Oval serving plate...
