About the Item

An exceptional large cylindrical planter, model "Brasero," attributed to French ceramicist Mado Jolain, circa 1960. Crafted in glazed ceramic with a rich, glossy green finish and punctuated by circular perforations, this rare piece exemplifies Jolain’s modernist aesthetic from the 1960s. Though unsigned, it is documented and attributed to the artist. Condition details: a discreet firing crack beneath the base (see photo) and a few minor enamel chips, with no impact on the structural integrity or overall visual appeal. A striking and sculptural piece, ideal for collectors or sophisticated interiors.
