About the Item

Studio hand made tray from Italy. It has a rectangular shape with rounded corners and a bevelled edge. The base is a lushious gold and it has been hand painted entirely with exotic fruits and flowers in various colors. It also has small dots across the flat surface which protrudes a bit. Signed Zaur, Roma underneath. It is in very good condition without cracks or chipping.

Robert Picault (1919 - 2000) French ceramist in Vallauris Robert Picault has contributed to the revival of culinary ceramics by updating traditional local forms decorated with lines and geometric designs.
