Vintage hand-painted polychrome Makkum Dutch ceramic tiles by Royal Tichelaar ranging from the 1920s to 1950s. An assortment inspired by designs dating back to the 17th century decorated in vivid shades of cobalt blue, green and ochre. Each tile depicts a different figure portraying musical and military themes. Great for decorating a kitchen/bathroom backsplash or fireplace surround and sought after by collectors.
