About the Item

The vintage set of 6 footed cups, glasses, or vessels feature hand-thrown body with distinct, sculptural foot, tapered cup, and flared rim. The glasses are decorated with abstract graphic designs that are hand-painted over the salt glaze. Each piece has an unique decor, with different shades of background salt glaze and different decor motifs, adding the variation within the set. Earthy shades of brown form a monochromatic tone-on-tone palette with variations from light mocha brown to darker espresso brown colors add Organic Modern influence to the set. The elegant, minimalist shape of the glasses and reserved color palette allow the striking, graphic glaze to dominate the composition of the pieces. The cups are signed by the artist; the convenient size and shape allow them to be used both as decor pieces and as functional, utilitarian objects. Classic, timeless design, high quality craftsmanship, and statement piece presence will make the set a great gift to a collector or a design enthusiast and a perfect addition to a wide range of tablescapes and interior styles, from Traditional to Chinoiserie, Transitional, Mid Century Modern, Collected, Japandi, Scandinavian Modern, Modern Country, or Contemporary.
