About the Item
Elegant and understated, this tall cylindrical stoneware vase was designed by Per Linnemann-Schmidt for Palshus, Denmark, in the 1960s. Executed in Palshus’ signature haresfur glaze, the surface features soft tonal variations in earthy olive green and brown, creating a refined, organic aesthetic. The simple, clean lines and minimalist form are hallmarks of Danish modern design.
Marked "Palshus Denmark" with incised monogram "PLS", the piece exemplifies the sophisticated ceramic work that made Palshus internationally renowned during the mid-20th century. Ideal as a sculptural object on its own or used for a single branch or floral arrangement.
