About the Item
Charming French lion head double handled soupière found in a French market. As a collector myself of these bowls I was happy to come across one in this deep color, as typically they are white. These would traditionally be used as a serving piece for soups however today they are often used very functional for fruit and vegetables on a kitchen counter, as well very useful to display plants and flowers. Wonderful patina!
