About the Item

Enchanting glass bowl, thick crystal with perfectly executed cut decoration, undoubtedly attributable to St. Louis France, the oldest glass manufacturer in France. Founded in 1767, Louis XV gave it the prestigious name of Verrerie Royale de Saint Louis (Saint Louis Royal Glassworks). Fifteen years later, the formula for producing crystal was discovered by Français de Beaufort, and the Verrerie Royale de Saint Louis was renamed Cristallerie Royale de Saint Louis. This artwork, never before on the market, comes from an important French private collection Every item of our Gallery, upon request, is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Sabrina Egidi official Expert in Italian furniture for the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and for the Rome Civil Courts. A 20th century vintage serving circular faceted crystal bowl or decorative centerpiece by iconic French Saint-Louis factory designed with transparent light spiralizing geometrical shapes in a design typical of the 1960s period. Labeled. This statement piece makes for a great addition for any living area as decoration or as a fruit or serving dish.
