About the Item

This elegant mid-century French champagne or wine cooler was crafted circa 1960 and features a beautifully cut clear glass body fitted with polished brass mounts. The glass is formed with rounded, lobed panels that create a sculptural profile and it is anchored by a star-cut base that catches and reflects light with every angle. A thick brass rim crowns the top, flanked by two ring handles mounted on cylindrical bosses, giving the piece both balance and a refined architectural presence. Accompanied by its original metal tongs, this versatile piece may be used as a wine cooler or as an ice bucket for serving drinks, making it both decorative and functional for entertaining.
