About the Item
A rather stylish 1950s double butter dome, its silver-plated cloches mounted on a raised rectangular base, with central carrying handle. Each dome lifts off to reveal a (modern) glass dish, which makes the service extremely easy to clean. The set is engraved with a capital letter 'J', which can be attributed to its former life adorning the opulent breakfast tables of the Hotel 'Juana' in Juan Les Pins, near Antibes.
