A 19th Century English glazed majolica oyster plate with six turquoise blue oyster wells surrounding a center well for sauce on a yellow ground with seaweed relief. A brown nautical rope border encircles the center well and the outer rim. The verso has blue gray glaze with six raised scallop shell shaped feet. Made by S. Fielding
Co. Ltd., Stoke-on-Trent, England. Impressed mark on the bottom. Circa 1875-1880.
