About the Item

Blue and white Italian plate. Antique condition large plate bowl from northern Italy with pale white terracotta glazed background with blue banded chevron border surrounding open field with lagged central diapered escutcheon with floral details supporting four brûlé parfum issuing fragrance. Very unusual motif. Very early repairs with iron staples in very good antique repaired condition with cracks and stapling only enhancing the appeal of this large plate round serving platter. Italy, late 1600’s.
