Beautiful 18th century Dutch Delft plate, made by Pieter Kocx, owner of 'De Grieksche A', 1701-1722.
This decor with a flower basket and flying birds was very beloved and mostly known to be depicted on larger dishes. This plate however is 23 cm.
De Grieksche A was the most celebrated manufacture of Delftware in the late 17th and early 18th century, delivering the famous tulip vases to the royal Palaces of William and Mary.

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There are two small chips to the plate's rim, wear and fritting to the entirety of the plate's rim and footrim, and some very light rubbing to the glaze in the bowl. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
