About the Item

A beautiful English Delftware plate, hand-painted featuring a Chinoiserie-inspired scene of flowers in full bloom, over which an exotic bird flies. The rim rim decorated with three sprigs of flowers, topped by a pair of butterflies. I personally think this plate is absolutely stunning due to the calm but very fine decor. Very good condition: usual wear and some chipping to the rim
