About the Item
English Delftware plate decorated in polychrome colors with a chinoiserie landscape, attributed to Bristol delftware. The design features scattered flowering shrubs and leafy mounds with striped reserves, interspersed with stylised plants and floral sprigs. To one side appears a small pavilion set in a landscape, and nearby a reclining figure in a boat. The foreground is defined by bands of water and shoreline, with the remaining surface left open, giving the composition its characteristic informal Bristol arrangement.

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There are two small chips to the plate's rim, wear and fritting to the entirety of the plate's rim and footrim, and some very light rubbing to the glaze in the bowl. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
