About the Item
Decorate a kitchen wall or a breakfast room with this pair of large antique majolica plates. Sculpted in France circa 1880 by Longchamp, onf of the plates feature sculptural fruit motifs in high relief which includes three apples hanging from tree branches covered with green leaves, and pink flowers on the side. The other platter features two beige apples and one green little apple all embellished with green leaf decor and also attached to a branch with white flowers on the side. The chargers have a green and blue background palette. The decorative wall platters are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn well-maintained, vivid colors. Hanging wire devise in the backs for easy installation. The colorful hand-painted faience round plates are stamped on the backside "Longchamp" for further authentication.

These are a beautiful pair of French Faience dinner plates with pierced rims, made by the Luneville K&G factory and dating to the late 19th century, circa 1895.
These large circular earthenware pottery plates are well potted with pierced reticulated rims.
Both plates are hand painted over a printed outline, with a similar bold floral pattern in different shades of Pink, blue, green and yellow enamels.
Both plates have the the black printed Luneville, K&G factory mark on the base, dating them to the late 19th century, circa 1895.
