About the Item

A rare set of 12 polychrome Dutch Delft tiles with flowers. Made in The Netherlands. Circa 1625 - 1650. This set of tiles is of very fine quality and has a bright glaze. They date to the second quarter of the 17th century and where probably ment to decorate a fireplace. The painting is of a very fine quality. The tiles are painted with all kinds of different flowers, such as tulips, lily's, carnations and imperial crowns. Please note: All tiles are loose and can be arranged, mounted, or framed at the buyer's own preference.
