About the Item

City: Delft Date: second half of the 18th century A genuine set of two polychrome Dutch Delft plates. Hand-painted in multiple colors on a white tin-glazed ground with the decoration of a bouquet of flowers. The rim is divided by cartouches of floral design. The diameter of the plates is approximately 23,2cm - 9 inches. The plates are in wonderful condition, with the normal superficial wear and small chips as can be expected for their age.
