About the Item

This is a lovely set of 12 uniquely painted dessert plates with a variety of subjects. They feature birds and butterflies done with a transfer border and hand painted polychrome enamels. The shaped rims are highlighted in gold and each plate tells a story. These would be lovely used as display on the wall or in a cabinet. The subjects are finely detailed and the palette is in naturalistic tones.
