A charming 19th Century French Majolica plate featuring a beautifully sculpted relief of two songbirds perched among grape vines and leaves. The plate is decorated in a rich palette of turquoise blue, soft grey, rose, yellow, and deep green glazes, all characteristic of high-quality French Majolica from the Victorian era.

A fine Japanese Meiji style charger, plate or dish. Hand crafted, this charger plate is adorned with a polychrome scene with a beautiful yellow bird and a rose. There is also a blossoming flower and trees on the turquoise base made in the Cloisonne technique. The border features traditional foliage, and floral motifs made in the same technique. The backside is decorated with a swirl motif also made in the Cloisonne technique.
