Awesome 83-piece set of vintage Mid-Century Modern stoneware dinner service designed by Ulla Procope for her Ruska Collection by Arabia Finland. All pieces are in wonderful vintage condition overall with a few minor exceptions. See below for a full list of pieces and photos for colors and condition. A wide variation in color of glaze is inherent of this pottery. Two dinner plates are marked. I believe making them the oldest. All other pieces are unmarked but unmistakable, circa 1960s-1990s. This dinner service by Ulla Procope for Arabia Finland is from her Ruska Collection. The shape of all the pieces is wonderful but the magnificent glaze is a sight to behold!!! The combination is nothing short of spectacular. Designed in 1960 it became one of the best-selling lines in Arabia’s history. And it continued into the 1990s due to its popularity. This design is a Scandinavian Classic! It was the first time Arabia used a matte glaze of mass-produced utilitarian ware. Its mottled glaze and colors turn out slightly different with every piece giving it a handcrafted look and feel. This set of 83 pieces will go a long way toward a complete set. You must make it yours. Dinnerware Sizes and Counts: • Nine dinner plates 10 1/8” • 11 salad plates 7 7/8” • 11 bread and butter plates 6 ¼” and 6 7/8” • Ten Rim Cereal Bowls 6 7/8” • Ten Flat Cups 4”D x 2 1/8”H • Four Flat Cups w/sm loop handle 3 ¼”D x 3 3/8”H • Six Flat Cups w/lg w/wide handle 3 ¼”D x 3 3/8”H • Three Large Mugs w/wide handle 4” • 12 Saucers 5 7/8” • One Creamer 2 3/8” 8 oz • One sugar bowl with chipped lid 2 1/8” • One coffee pot with lid 6 ¾” • One oval serving platter 14” • One vegetable bowl 9” D x 3” H (this piece and bowl below will stack) • One vegetable bowl 9” D x 3 ¾” H • One vegetable bowl Lid (fits both bowls above) There are several odd pieces that have small imperfections that are not listed above but we will include.
