A remarkable French faience dinner service from the renowned Choisy-le-Roi Manufacture, circa 1900. Each piece is beautifully decorated with hand-painted botanical motifs in naturalistic polychrome, showcasing the refined artistry for which this factory became celebrated.
This 68-piece set includes:
24 dinner plates
24 dessert plates
12 soup plates
4 footed fruit dishes
2 covered jam dish with fixed tray
2 raviers
Marked “HB Choisy” on the reverse, this service represents the excellence of the Choisy-le-Roi workshop, founded in 1805 and achieving international acclaim under the direction of Hippolyte Boulenger from 1863. Known for its fine faience, the manufactory received numerous medals at the Universal Exhibitions of the 19th century.

Le Parisien is the story of a little boy discovering country life, designed by the French artist and painter Antoine-Albert Richard (1845-1921) named "Froment-Richard". He designed several sets for the French Creil & Montereau manufacture, but "Le Parisien" is the most famous with a brown rim enhanced with groups of three petals and ex. The dinner set depicts a fantastic and humorous universe. Wonderfully decorated all the characters' clothes are exquisitely detailed, they play with vegetables, fruits, meat, and fish.
