About the Item
A great collection of eight fossil plates, 6 circular and two octagonal all appears to be cut from a similar stone. Each plate is unique in appearance and covered with Orthoceras, Ammonite and Goniatids fossils.
All in great condition, no chips or cracks visible
The stone likely originates from Morocco, Devonian Period (400 - 350 million years ago)
All plates approx 40cm in diameter, and 1/1.5cm in depth
