About the Item
An English majolica Begonia plate, Adams
Bromley, circa 1870-1880.
Beautiful, bold glazing with bright green rims. The centers show a pattern of raised mold work, mimicking the crinkling and veining found on a begonia leaf.
The versos are glazed with a wide brown rim. A nice rolled rim.
Multiple plates are available, each varying in glazing and intensity of color.
Unmarked – however this glazing is well known to be Adams
Bromley manufactured.
