About the Item
The plate, made of glazed terracotta and entirely hand-painted in Sicily, is part of the "Colapesce" collection, inspired by the Sicilian folk legend of the same name of "Colapesce," a half-man, half-fish creature who sacrificed his life to save his beloved Sicily. Four intensely blue tails emerge from the background whose contours are traversed by closely spaced celestial lines that are difficult to execute. The extreme elegance of this dish fits very well in classically styled settings.
Each plate has holes in the back and is particularly suitable for wall decorations and table decor.
