About the Item

The plate, made of glazed terracotta and entirely hand-painted in Sicily, is part of the "Colapesce" collection, inspired by the Sicilian folk legend of the same name of "Colapesce," a half-man, half-fish creature who sacrificed his life to save his beloved Sicily. This grayscale version testifies to the technical mastery of decoration, characteristic of authentic Made in Italy. Each piece is made in Sicily according to the traditional method. The design creates the optical illusion of a concentric spiral, with a continuous interplay of shades of gray. Each plate has holes in the back and is particularly suitable for wall decorations and table decor.
